FFIN’S Elwood is a talented blue and white working line border collie owned by Kat Teufel in Oregon. He has been handled by Brian Jacobs on both sheep and cattle where he successfully trialed and placed in a variety of events. Kat continues to work and trial Elwood as often as possible while also training up her younger dogs.

Kat describes Elwood as a one person dog. Totally loyal to her. He is friendly to other people, but not overly so. More on the neutral side. He is good with other dogs, and not aggressive. He prefers to stay close rather than playing and running around.

When working, Elwood is obedient and biddable. He is big on teamwork, not in it for himself. With a good off switch, he won’t go crazy if not worked every day. Elwood has quite a bit of eye when working sheep, making him very stylish.

Elwood is Optimal Selection fully clear with OFA Hips Excellent and Elbows Normal. The progeny out of Elwood are maturing beautifully with natural stock sense. You can follow Flying Fins Facebook page by clicking the link to learn more: https://www.facebook.com/FlyingFinsBorderCollies.

We are excited for this pairing.
